Yazm (full name: Yazm) was born during a slightly windy day in Central Park in November, 1965. Even at an early age, Yazm showed signs of succeeding far beyond the normal parameters for a bird. Yazm credits the strong influence of his parents and numerous siblings for his positive outlook and strong political drive.

After his initial schooling, Yazm entered college where he focused on a double major of ecology and business. Yazm frequently draws upon his background in ecology to increase awareness for environmental issues, especially those occurring in New York's metropolitan areas.

After college, Yazm spent several years travelling around the world gaining a vast amount of knowledge about governmental policy and foreign bird life. Often, Yazm compares the migration habits of the Uguisu Bush Warbler in Northern Japan to the problems currently facing the youth in our state.

For the past eight years, Yazm has dedicated his life to public service where he has brought wisdom and a good dose of common sense to all groups he has been involved in.

Yazm has realized that the only way to accomplish his current goals for New York State is to run for Senate, and because he has never been one to turn his back on a challenge or the people of New York, he is entering the Senate 2000 race.
